# Bjarne Fomferra

Application developer, owner of Nucez Software

I build **software for manufacturing, retail and infrastructure**. It started with desktop applications in the furniture industry, today it is web, cloud, the JTL ecosystem and running the servers underneath.

My standard is simple: **software should take work off your plate**, not create new work. That is why **every project starts with the process**, not the technology. Only once it is clear what should happen do I decide what to build it with.

I come from automation. If a task is done by hand three times, it is a candidate for software. With me **you talk to the person who also writes the code**. No intermediate layers, no translation losses, short decision paths.

- **Qualification:** Certified Application Developer (IHK 2024)
- **Based in:** Germany
- **Focus:** Custom software, web design, automation, operations
- **Own product:** NexoVirt
- **Languages:** German, English

- 2020 Building software since then
- 1 Contact who also writes the code
- 100% Code and docs are yours in the end
- ∞ Cups of coffee

## I find a solution. Always.

Tell me what the problem is, what the current state looks like and what is needed in the end. I find the **right solution** and implement it. Not the fastest one that happens to fit, but the one that **actually fixes the problem**.

I do not shy away from work and **stay on it until everything runs**. I do not promise what is not possible, and I am **honest with my clients and partners**, even when the honest answer is uncomfortable.

I am **reachable almost any time** and, in an emergency, work at night too. And I am young, with a head full of ideas and without the blinkers of "we have always done it this way".

## Made in Germany should mean something again.

"Made in Germany" used to be a promise: **quality, reliability, integrity**. In software, little of that is left. A lot is thrown together quickly and cheaply, as long as it runs somehow.

I want to change that. I build software **I put my name to**: done properly, run honestly, made here.

I am young, I do not shy away from work and I have enough ideas for years to come. If Made in Germany should stand for **quality and integrity** in software again, I start with myself.

## Data stays in Germany

I run your application **on servers in Germany** and deliberately avoid third-party services that send data abroad without need. For me, **GDPR is the starting point**, not an annoying obligation at the end.

Where an external component genuinely makes sense, I choose it based on privacy and contract and make clear what flows where. That way **you keep control** over where your data lives.

## Career

1. from 2020 ### Self-taught start During the coronavirus period I started **teaching myself to program**. First small tools, alongside them my first experience with server administration. The interest quickly turned into a career choice.
2. 2021 – 2024 ### Apprenticeship as application developer Furniture industry, manufacturing execution systems. First desktop applications around MES, working on the **full automation of batch-size-one production** and integrations with industrial machines. Later web: production KPI dashboards and a scheduling web app that calculates the cut on a large saw with minimal waste.
3. 2024 ### Software Engineer Furniture industry. Hired after graduation. First independent project: a small production line, **automating a CNC machine** with subsequent cardboard cutting on a packaging system.
4. 2024 – 2025 ### Software development & infrastructure Server hosting project. Responsible for all software development as well as **setting up servers and networks** in the data center. The idea for NexoVirt comes from this time.
5. since 2025 ### Software Engineer Industrial trade, cleaning technology. Internal production applications in cloud, desktop and on microcontrollers. Work on one of the larger German online shops in the sector, **JTL-Wawi integrations**, automation of production shipping, and administration of the ERP servers including VMs, backups and databases. My first contact with PHP and JTL development.
6. since 2025 ### Own product Alongside employment, NexoVirt is taking shape. **It solves a problem I encountered in practice**, and I run it myself.
7. 2026 ### Founding Nucez Software Self-employed. The side project becomes an offering of its own: **custom software, own products and the operations behind them**, for businesses across Germany.
