# Quotes and orders straight from the shop into JTL-Wawi

By [Bjarne Fomferra](https://nucez.com/en/about) · 09.08.2026

Quotes in JTL-Wawi are a bit of a thing. The customer calls or sends an email, someone creates the quote by hand, sends it out, follows up. With a few quotes a month that works. With many it becomes a full-time job.

## [What I built](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen)

I built a module that gets rid of exactly this workflow. It consists of two parts: a plugin for JTL-Shop and a cloud module that connects to the Wawi. Together they make sure a quote gets created completely without manual work.

## [What it looks like for your customers](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen)

Your customer logs into their customer account in the shop and requests a quote right there. No call, no email, no waiting for a callback. They put together what they need and send off the request. Done.

## [What arrives in the Wawi](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen)

Now comes the part that matters: afterwards, a full-fledged quote is sitting in your JTL-Wawi. Not in some isolated database, not in an extra interface, but directly in the Wawi, as if an employee had created it by hand.

Nothing is missing. Discount codes, free-text line items, shipping methods, correct taxes: it's all in there and it's all right. You can edit the quote in the Wawi desktop app as usual, cancel it, or convert it into an order. To the Wawi it's a quote like any other.

## [Why this is the crux](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen)

Many integrations fail right here. They create half a quote where the taxes are wrong or the free-text line items are missing, and in the end someone has to rework it anyway. Then you might as well not bother.

My standard was clear: if it arrives in the Wawi, it has to be 100 percent right. Otherwise nothing is gained.

## [Runs on different Wawi versions](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen)

Because not every business is on the same version, I built the module for different Wawi versions, for the 1.1 series just as well as for 2.0. So you don't have to switch over your whole inventory management first to make it work.

## [Conclusion](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen)

You can't get something like this off the shelf. It's exactly the kind of integration I build [when the JTL standard hits its limit](https://nucez.com/en/blog/jtl-wawi-anpassen-grenzen): the missing feature that actually takes work off your hands, instead of you adapting to the software.

In short

A customer requests a quote in the shop, and it shows up in JTL-Wawi right away, as if a real user had created it. How my module does it.
