Hosting
This website runs on a virtual server provided by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, located in Germany. IONOS processes data on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in secure and reliable delivery.
Delivery through Cloudflare
The site is delivered through the network of Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 München, a subsidiary of Cloudflare, Inc. based in the USA. Cloudflare acts as a processor on my behalf under Art. 28 GDPR and processes technical connection data such as IP address, time of the request, requested address and browser identifier in order to fend off attacks and speed up delivery. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in secure, available and fast operation. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. It is covered by standard contractual clauses and by Cloudflare being certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
Server log files
When you open the website, data your browser transmits is collected automatically: page requested, time, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type and a shortened IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in secure and stable operation. The data is deleted after 7 days at the latest.
Contact form
When you write to me through the form, I process your name, email address, optionally your company and the content of your message in order to handle the request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract related requests, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.
Cookies and browser storage
This website sets no cookies for analytics or advertising. Only local browser storage is used for the selected language and colour scheme. Those values never leave your device.
Fonts and external content
All fonts are served from my own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external provider.
Analytics and tracking
No reach measurement and no tracking takes place.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. An informal email to the address in the imprint is sufficient.
Encryption
For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. Data transmitted cannot be read by third parties.
