Websites, email and applications in good hands

# Hosting in Germany you never have to worry about.

## Servers that run, and someone who keeps an eye on them.

Software nobody looks after **fails eventually**, usually at the worst moment. I make sure your website, your email and your applications **run reliably**.

You have **one contact** for everything around operations, instead of wrestling with providers, updates and certificates yourself. **Servers in Germany**, fixed response times and verified backups included.

## I make sure it runs

I do **not run my own data centre**. Instead I rely on **established providers in Germany** such as Hetzner and IONOS and make sure your projects there are **set up correctly, secured and maintained**.

For you that means: no dealing with plans, server configuration or support hotlines. **I pick what fits**, set it up and stay on it afterwards.

This is not limited to projects I built myself. I also take over **existing websites and applications** and **migrate them cleanly** on request.

Web space, mailboxes, certificates

## Websites & email

Your website and your **email mailboxes** run on servers in Germany, managed with **Plesk**. I set up domains, **SSL certificates** and mailboxes and keep them up to date.

You get **email addresses on your own domain** without having to deal with the tech. Need a new mailbox or a forward? Just let me know.

More than web space

## Applications & virtual servers

Web applications and custom software often need **more than classic web space**. For that I set up dedicated **virtual servers and VMs**, virtualized with **Proxmox** and with **Docker** where needed, cleanly separated from other projects.

For managing many Proxmox hosts I even built my own panel, **NexoVirt**. So I know how the tech works under the hood.

For existing projects too

## Stress-free migration

Your website or application sits with another provider and nobody really takes care of it? I **also take over existing projects** I did not build myself.

I plan the **migration** so website and email keep running **without long outages**: transfer the data, switch domains, check everything, and only then switch over.

Ongoing care included

## Maintenance, updates & backups

I apply **updates and security patches** regularly, so your system does not become outdated and vulnerable. **Monitoring** runs around the clock and raises an alert before you notice anything.

Backups run regularly, and I **also verify the restore**. A backup is only worth something if it really works in an emergency.

**Smaller changes are included**, larger ones we discuss beforehand.

Clear commitments

## Fixed response times

Operations run on **fixed response times**: critical incident **within 4 hours at most**, regular request **within one business day**, **reachable around the clock** in an emergency.

To cover outages I work with a **fixed network** that can step in. You have **one dedicated contact** instead of a ticket number and a call centre.

## How your project gets into good hands

1. Inventory We look at **what you have today**: website, email, applications, domains and where everything lives.
2. Setup or migration I set up the **right environment** with a German provider or migrate your existing project.
3. Switch over & check Only once everything is tested do I switch domains and email, **without long outages**.
4. Ongoing operation Updates, monitoring and backups keep running, and when something goes wrong I respond with **fixed response times**.

## What do hosting & operations cost?

Hosting and operations are **ongoing monthly costs**. The amount depends on **what you book**: just the website, email hosting on top, or a dedicated server for your application.

Updates, security, monitoring and verified backups are **included**, as are **smaller changes**. Larger adjustments and a migration we discuss **with you beforehand**, so you know where you stand.

### Frequently asked questions

Do you run your own data center?

No. Your projects run at **Hetzner or IONOS on servers in Germany**. I set them up, operate them and keep an eye on them.

What is included in ongoing operations?

**Updates and security**, **backups with restore tests**, **monitoring with alerts** and small changes. The exact scope depends on the service you book.

How fast do you respond to incidents?

For a **critical incident within 4 hours at most**, for normal requests **within one business day**. In an emergency I can be reached around the clock, and a **fixed network** can step in if I am unavailable.

Do you take over existing websites or applications?

Yes, including projects someone else built, **with migration** from your current host.

Do you also offer email hosting?

Yes. **Mailboxes with your own domain**, set up and maintained, on request together with your website and applications.
