NZ GEO Visibility

So your shop shows up in ChatGPT and co. and gets cited.

A standalone plugin for JTL-Shop 5 that makes your catalog readable for AI search engines and shopping agents: for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.

All content comes from your shop database, maintained via the Wawi. The plugin invents no texts, does not change your template and exposes no customer data.

The problem it solves

More and more people ask an AI their buying question instead of a classic search engine. For AI systems, regular shop HTML is expensive to process and full of noise from navigation, scripts and layout.

The result: products get overlooked or misrepresented.

Everything at a glance

Dashboard and setup

The start page shows right away what counts: visitors via AI, active AI bots, the average citability score and the state of the llms.txt. Plus AI traffic over the last 30 days as a chart, a to-do list and the status of all modules.

After installation, a wizard guides you through setup in four steps: write the robots.txt, generate the llms.txt, check the schema, rate the catalog.

Who reads along and who clicks through

AI traffic and statistics

The statistics show requests per AI bot and day, how many visitors arrive via ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Grok, which bots are most active and which pages they fetch most often.

So you see not only whether AI reads your shop, but also which content is in demand and where visitors come from. IP addresses are deleted after 30 days.

Control over AI crawlers

18 AI bots can be allowed or blocked individually, split into services that search and cite (such as OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot) and those that train (such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended).

The rules land as a cleanly separated block in the robots.txt, your own entries stay untouched. Checkout, login, cart, filters and search are always excluded.

The profile for AI systems

An llms.txt you control

An llms.txt per language is generated automatically from the shop data, plus lean .md and .json twins of every page with prices, stock and variants.

In the curation area you refine the result: your own key facts such as returns and delivery countries, recommended products, important pages, an FAQ block that agents quote directly, and the AI usage policy.

An llms.txt you control

Unambiguous for Google and AI

Structured data

The plugin outputs matching JSON-LD per page type: Organization and WebSite on the home page, Product, Offer and AggregateRating on product pages, breadcrumbs on categories, manufacturers and blog.

Official profiles such as LinkedIn or Wikidata are stored as sameAs. A live preview and direct links to the Google Rich Results Test show right away what is output.

Structured data

For agents and connectors

Interfaces for AI

Public endpoints such as /llms.txt, /.well-known/llms.txt and the Markdown twins can be read by any AI without login. Plus structured data (JSON-LD) for organization, products, offers and reviews.

Protected by an API key: a product feed with filters and an MCP server with read-only tools such as product search, availability and price, usable as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT. Rate-limited and without any write access.

See what is missing

Citability score

Every product gets 0 to 100 points for how well an AI can cite it as an answer, grouped into red, yellow and green. The "What is missing" column shows exactly what to maintain in the Wawi: stock, manufacturer, description, GTIN, image, FAQ.

That is the to-do list for better AI visibility, worst products first and with CSV export. The add-on plugin adds a finance dashboard: which AI brought which revenue.

Citability score

First results

Before, there were no citations in ChatGPT and co. Now the shop is citable with all the data it needs. Privacy-friendly: read-only, no customer data, IP addresses deleted after 30 days.

  • ~30,000AI and bot requests in the first week
  • 18AI bots controllable individually
  • 0 to 100citability score per product

Technology used

  • PHP
  • JTL
  • MySQL

Tell me what is not working for you.

Describe in a few sentences what it is about and what is missing today. The more concrete, the more useful the answer. First response usually the same day.
