How long does a project take?

A company website takes two to six weeks depending on scope. An integration often only days. Custom applications run in months. You get shippable increments along the way and do not have to wait until the end to see something.

Who owns the code in the end?

You do. Completely, including source code, repository and documentation. There is no lock-in to me, no hidden licences and no vendor you cannot leave.

Do you also work on existing projects?

Yes. I take over applications someone else built, work my way in and document what is missing. If I can see that keeping something alive is not economical, I say so openly instead of patching it expensively.

You work alone. What if you are unavailable?

A fair question. That is why every project ships with documentation that lets another developer take over, and the complete code sits with you. For ongoing operations we agree fixed response times. For larger projects I bring in colleagues from my network.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in Germany. I deliberately avoid third party services that move data to other countries where it is not necessary. GDPR is a precondition, not something bolted on at the end.

I do not know exactly what I need yet.

That is the normal case and not an obstacle. Describe the problem, not the solution. We work out the rest in conversation, and if it turns out software is not the answer, I will tell you that too.
